Settling in Sessions

After accepting a place for your child at Dandelion Day Nursery and Kids Club, you will be invited to visit us for settling in sessions, there is no charge for these sessions.

All of our children have at least one settling in before their first full session with us, this enables both you and them to meet the staff in the room and to become more familiar with the nursery.

We value our relationship with our parent/carers and if you feel that more settling in sessions are needed, we will work closely with you until you are confident that both you and your child are happy.

​

When children transition to a new room, settling in sessions take place during their normal session time. An introduction will be arranged during this period for you to meet the new staff team.
