Poppies

Our Poppy room provides a stimulating environment for the 2-3 year olds to enhance their learning and development. The room has direct access to the large garden, where chickens, rabbits and our guinea pig explore; where the children can learn to take care of our animals by helping clean them out and help feed them; we go outside in all weather conditions to enhance their risk awareness. Poppy room has many different areas for the 2-3’s to engage in such as a construction area, a small world area and a kitchen area. Poppy room also has access to a nappy changing area and the children’s toilet facilities where children have the independence to develop their self-help skills.
